There is now a configuration to allow GUs control of the club or player pays option. Logged in as a GU admin go to
Entities > Clubs
Search for then click the club to change
At the bottom of the Details tab click “Player Pays Only”.
Click the Save button
If you want to remove this from all your clubs you’ll need to go through them one at a time. USA Rugby will not do a one time mass update at GU request. Their reasoning is as follows.
This has to be a club-by-club thing as this has to be clearly intentional from the GU, and it needs to allow for exceptions to be made – for example you might turn the option off for most clubs, but allow it for the one club you know needs it. GUs can go club to club. We are talking about 15 mins work here, max!
