2026 USA Club Rugby XVs National Championships Schedule & Teams Announced
Lemont, IL (Chicago Area) – May 15-17, 2026
After hard fought battles within the Atlantic, Gulf Coast, Pacific & Northern Super Regionals a champion was decided for Women’s Division I & II and Men’s Division I, II and III. The 2026 USA Club Rugby XVs National Championships Presented by The Pickle Juice Company, will be streamed on the USA Club Rugby YouTube Channel. Next Level Rugby will be broadcasting all of the action. The National Championships will be held from Friday May 15 to Sunday May 17, 2026.
The Host Team for this year’s USA Club Rugby XVs National Championships are the Chicago Blaze Rugby Club.
Blaze Rugby Complex
Founded in 1981, the Chicago Blaze has grown into a cornerstone of American club rugby, sporting D1 Premiership and D3 Developmental sides competing across the Midwest as well as a newly formed boys youth program. The organization’s unparalleled facility—featuring four full grass pitches, a dedicated clubhouse, and full-service bar—combined with the club’s recent run of National playoff qualifications, has established the Blaze as both a competitive force and a trusted host for club rugby’s most significant events, including Club and College Championship tournaments and USA Rugby Super Regional competitions. Event Overview
The Chicago Blaze Rugby Complex is the site of the 2026 XVs National Championships. This includes 5 Divisions (Women’s D1 & D2, Men’s D1, D2, D3) and 20 teams in total. Fifteen 80-minute rugby matches will be played over three days.
The USA Club Rugby National Championship is the pinnacle of the senior club rugby season, bringing together the nation’s top teams after months of intense competition. The journey began for many teams in August of 2025, as clubs battled their respective Union Championships to earn a spot in one of four Super Regional events across the country.
The championship weekend will feature 15 high-stakes matches, showcasing the top four clubs in five competitive divisions:
- Men’s Divisions 1, 2, and 3
- Women’s Divisions 1 and 2
Semifinals will take place on Friday (Division I) and Saturday (Division II & III), leading up to the National Championship Finals on Sunday (All Divisions), where the best clubs in the country will compete for the ultimate title.
